This is the last of three state parks we visited in the Florida Keys this year... Located on Key Largo it is not far from Miami and sees heavy weekend use for that reason. The park has a marina with 2 boat ramps, boat rental and has daily dive tours - in fact, the park caters mainly to day use. The sites were average or a bit smaller, made of gravel and are sort of an extension of the main parking lot, they are also packed in fairly tight. This park has limited day use facilities and boats must be anchored offshore of your campsite. However, all campsites are directly on the beach, made of sand and have firepits. The only downside is that being on the beach does limit the privacy offered from site to site.
